Tap n’ Bass

Tap n’ Bass was an improvised and augmented tap dance performance. 

By coupling piezoelectric sensors to the tap shoes, the dancers were able to feed back live beat samples for the production and live remix of drum n’ bass music during the performance.

Tap n’ Bass is a playful experiment that brings up the similarities of these two genres in a genuine and exalting way.
